Easy walk between the hotel and the terminal - convenient for both the limousine bus drop off and departures. Staff were incredibly helpful and efficient - In my fatigue after a very long day of travel, I accidentally went to check in at the Villa Fontaine Grand and they gently and politely advised me I needed to go across to the other hotel on the other side of the foyer, took my trolley and walked me across the foyer to the correct check in. They gave me all the information I needed on check in. They helped me get my trolley to the lift to go up to my room. There was a lovely Japanese confection on arrival. The onsen was clean and well organised. I had visited several onsens on my outbound journey - of the hotel ones this was the most impressive in terms of the variety of baths, sauna and steam rooms. The staff were careful to make sure I understood that you had to take all clothes off before admitting me (which is a good precaution for an airport hotel accommodating travellers on layovers who may not be prepared for this). The bed was absolutely heaven - firm mattress which was great for my back but somehow felt like I was sinking into a cloud. Crisp sheets, a light and warm duvet (feather or down?) and pillows that were just the right height and level of firmness. It was dark. No light coming in from outside and no annoying lights in the room overnight. I was easily able to control the thermostat to an ideal temperature for me to to sleep. It was quiet - even the air conditioning fan was not loud. The hotel was immaculate. I could not fault it. I had the best night's sleep in years.

The Hotel is in T3 at Haneda airport. You habe to walk about 1-3 min. so it's very close (its INSIDE the airport, so you can go from the terminal straight to it without going outside). The lobby area was very nice (i spent some time waiting for my check-in time since i didnt want to pay the early check-in fee, but they let me in my room 20 min. early, basically as soon as the room was done being cleaned :)!) I received an onsen ticket but since I was sick and had a fever the day before I couldn't use it (a bit sad since that was one of the primary reasons i booked this hotel). Breakfasr cost 4000 Yen extra (if i understood right). A bit steep for a short breakfast before a flight so I didnt buy it. The bed was HUGE and super comfortable! So were the pillows and blanket. The view of the river was stunning! Mini bar was free to use/drink. All in all, i enjoyed the stay and quality. Staff was very nice and brought my luggage to my room as well. Checkout was very easy. You get a discount for a bunch of haneda airport shopping street shops if you show your booking receipt/room card, which is great for dinner plans or last minute souvenirs. The room was incredibly silent. I couldnt hear any guests or airplanes - nothing. The sound proofing was amazing! Amenities were good. They had brushes, slippers and pajamas you could use which was nice.

Was very considerate of guests toiletries and provided a lot for free. There was a shower and also a bath with shower feature! Nice view with the room, room service available and free use of onsen with deluxe suite. Had services like massage you could add on. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Allowed to use onsen and I have tattoos so really enjoyed that experience - open air one at night could see the stars and view of city. Good links to get anywhere central. Shops discounted because premier suite. Allowed to leave luggage before check in time. The complimentary drinks in the fridge were a very nice touch. I liked they had an iron and board available to use as my clothes had become squashed and wrinkled in suitcase.

The room and amenities were great, the big surprise was the onsen. We got to Japan about 6pm after about 24 hours of traveling. I needed to stay up at least until til 9 to try and even out the jet lag. I decided to try the onsen and it was deluxe! Such a great treat after a 13 hour flight, I also had the salt scrub massage, which was so invigorating after all that time in a plane. The next morning it was drizzling, but the outside onsen in the drizzle-also just lovely. Breakfast was fabulous also-I had the Japanese style and the salmon was amazing. My husband had the western, also great. The gym facilities were extensive as well. This was the best airport hotel I have ever stayed in

Location is conveniently located inside the airport so you don’t have to worry about walking in the freezing weather in winter. All the drinks in the fridge are complimentary which is very rare in hotels. Good amenities provided. Housekeeping is very good. Breakfast is served as a set meal which was very healthy. Bed is firm and shower pressure is one of the best in Japan. We stayed in 6 different hotels during our Japan trip and Villa Fontaine was the best. Staff always greeting us with smiles and are very professional. Premier is way more quieter and not so busy as Grand which is good if you don’t like crowds but of course, you’d pay more.
